Speaking

I am a passionate public speaker, and have been giving conference talks and keynote addresses on a range of topics since 2014. Most of my speaking centers on insights developed on the NSSD podcast.

I especially enjoy speaking on the broader topic of how to frame data science work and be successful as a data scientist and data analyst. This includes design thinking applied to data science, systems thinking within data science, data analysis as negotiation, and practical advice for cultivating empathy for the people you collaborate with and build tools for.

You can find a full list of the talks I’ve given (with links to videos when available) listed below. It is also on my CV.

I am available to speak at both conferences as well as corporate events. Please contact me at me@hilaryparker.com to discuss logistics and speaker fees when applicable.
